Job Purpose:

The Group Technical Manager will work alongside the CEO to execute the company vision, put procedures and resources in place to promote scaling, optimize inefficient areas in the Production department.

Duties & Responsibility

Planning: Implementation and supervise all the company Production department

• Oversee the productions of the organization to meet business goals and projections
• Optimal utilization of resources to achieve set production targets (Machine utilization, efficiency, raw material waste)
• Empower the production teams with the leadership and resources they need to increase productivity.
• Positively always represent the company through a success-oriented and professional demeanor
• Partner with other executives to accomplish short and long-term operational goals
• Measure and report on production performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators (OEE, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Waste)

Qualification, Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with the production procedures of the organization
• The strong analytical and data-driven mindset that translates into leadership skills
• Ability to inspire employees to live up to their potential and optimize their productivity
• Masters in Engineering or related areas
• Ability to communicate the vision to the board of directors, other senior managers, and company employees
• Have at least 25 years of tobacco industry experience of which 10 years of experience in leadership positions
• Must be technically very good with high knowledge of tobacco machines
• Ability to work under pressure
• MS Office.

Proficiency in English is a must, French is an advantage.
