Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural
language processing, and text analytics.
To be able to develop robust, scalable and maintainable machine learning models to answer
business problems against large datasets
Self-motivated and driven to satisfy intellectual curiosity through the pursuit of learning and
development of new skills.
Experience working with some of the statistical models such as linear/logistic regression,
clustering, support vector machines (SVM) neural networks, Random Forest, CRF, Bayesian
models, supervised/unsupervised learning, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a wide coverage of the different methods/models, and an in-depth
knowledge of some.
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques (POS Tagging, NER, Semantic Role
Labelling etc.)
Utilize statistical natural language processing to mine unstructured data, and create insights;
Perform elements of data cleaning, feature selection and feature engineering and organize
experiments in conjunction with best practices
Creating dynamic decision-making processes and trying to predict future events from the
historical data.
Benchmark, apply, and test algorithms against success metrics. Interpret the results in terms of
relating those metrics to the business process
Visualize data to tell compelling stories
Requirements:
Background in natural language processing and/or machine learning
Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
Industry experience developing multi-threaded applications
Mathematical background (probability & statistics) a strong plus
Strong communications and interpersonal skills a must
Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and standard RDBMSs a plus
Strong Working Python
Education:
B. Tech/M. Tech/ MS( Mathematics/Statistics/Economics) from premier institute.
