Job Description
Management Trainee, Virtualization
In this role you will be responsible for taking care of any new Application Onboarding from implementation as well as documentation perspective and for all the incidents for citrix environment in all the sectors across the globe.
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting servers remotely using ILO
Proficient with Datacenter operations and administration
Investigate and resolve security violations by providing initial analysis to illuminate the issue, and identify causes, workable solutions, and preventative measures
Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures
Management of Azure Windows desktop
Management of AWS App streams applications
Exposure of citrix application migration from one platform to another
Design and maintenance of Group Policy and management in Citrix.
Installation, Configuration, and support Citrix Infra Servers (DDC, Storefront).
Updating Citrix machine catalogue for rolling latest patches.
Configuring Citrix MCS machines catalogue and delivery groups.
User entitlement and support for Citrix HSD VDI machines.
Hands on working knowledge of Citrix License server.
Troubleshooting of Citrix Server and user issues analysis.
Having basic knowledge on Citrix NetScaler and its implementation
Managing & configuring Citrix 7.15 virtualization environment and publishing virtual desktops and applications, troubleshooting XenApp and XenDesktop
Address complex technical issues related to users, Applications, User profiles, printing, connectivity, OS etc.
Utilizing Citrix studio Console, configuring the site and creating catalogues, upgrading MCS catalogues with new updated master images and registering virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) with Delivery controllers, deploying Machine catalog and redeployment.
Responsible for building storefront front servers, developing stores for the sites, load balancing the servers and customizing Citrix Receiver for web.
Creation of multiple delivery groups for corresponding departments within organizations.
Updating and versioning the VDisk in Citrix PVS, installing the updates over the target devices and generating new update reflect for the users.
Responsible for Citrix documentation; familiar with change management system to implement required changes in Citrix infrastructure. Maintaining and developing documentation of all processes associated with administration of the Citrix environment.
Problem Troubleshooting Using Director, shadowing users in case of need. Alert monitoring Using director.
Monthly Cleanup activity of VDI, Licenses.
Citrix infrastructure includes windows servers (Win2k8R2, Win2k12, Win2k16), hypervisors (VMware, XenServer), and so hands on experience working on the windows platform and hypervisor as well
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
Experience in Citrix, with knowledge on XenApp, XendesktopPVS, Storefront, Licensing, Director, Delivery Controllers, Netscalers
Knowledge of Citrix PVS, master images.
Knowledge on Xendesktop 7.15
Knowledge of Citrix AppSense Desktop Now deployment and administration.
Knowledge of Citrix AppDNA Deployment and administration
Software-defined networking knowledge with VMware NSX
In-depth knowledge and hands on expertise on VMware vSphere ESX 6.5 & 6.7, VMware vCenter Server, Site Recovery Manager, VC Operations Manager and Solar Winds Network Performance Monitor
Knowledge in Thin provisioning, VMFS expansion, RAID technologies.
Hands on experience with the HP blade c7000 enclosures and the ML, DL, BL series servers.
Strong experience with the VMware HA (High Availability), Fault Tolerance, Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS)and VMware Distributed Power Management.
Knowledge on Consolidated Backup, DRS, HA, DPM, vMotion, VMware Data Recovery, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
Knowledge on upgrading the Cisco UCS firmware
Knowledge on architecture, design, install, configure VMware ESX environments with VirtualCenter management.
Experience in Physical to Virtual (P2V) and Virtual to Virtual conversions
Knowledge in Windows clustering Administration, troubleshooting and Microsoft failover clustering manager
Knowledge on vMotion and Storage vMotion.
Knowledge about Azure/AWS administration
Knowledge about control planes, deployment and management
Knowledge about IAM (Identity Access Management)
Knowledge about management consoles of AWS/Azure
Knowledge about resource groups in AWS/Azure

Preferred qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
Provide a single point of contact for the reporting and tracking of issues
Have very good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Produce RCA report as required
Ability to perform problem analysis and develop resolutions at both strategic and tactical levels
Good understanding of ITIL Process flow
