Job Description
We are Urgently looking for Project Manager @ Bangalore
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the R&D I&S team, the individual should be able to perform following duties:
o Ownership to execute the assigned project, overseeing & managing cross functional interdependencies.
o Understand the project at a system level & work with the HW/Mech & Software engineers to execute the project.
o Manage & Carry out engineering design change activities by working in close coordination with engineers & cross functional teams of QA, RA, certification agencies Production & Service.
o Keep a watch on components obsolescence & provide timely solutions to prevent production stop situations. o Collaborate with Production & engineering to investigate product failures & provide solutions for the same.
o Timeline planning considering risks & critical path to ensure no production stop.
o Owning the Technology know-how transfer from released projects.
o Continuous Improvement of Released products w.r.t updated Regulatory Standards.
o Maintain a database of HW & Mech Design reports & be familiar with critical functions.
o Support Production Technologist with Production transfer from one site to another.
o Support Regulatory department with Country Registrations.
o Supports Quality and Regulatory audits as needed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
o Engineering degree or above in Electrical/Electronics.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCY:
o 7+ years in Embedded Device Product development in the capacity of designer or Tech lead, with Minimum 1+ years of technical/ Project management experience.
o Hands on Expertise in Hardware design with good exposure to other domains (mechanical and software) high level design, development & verification principles.
o Exposure to product safety testing & certification (Ex: CB Certification of medical devices). o Exposure to value engineering of products w.r.t cost & technology.
o Able to work independently & Experience working with cross functional teams (Engineering, Certification agencies, QA/RA, Production, Sourcing, Suppliers)
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY:
o Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Self-motivated and passion to finish (fire in belly).
o Flexible, hands-on and willing to learn new technologies. o Good team player with good collaboration skills.
