Job Description

Context:To lead, plan and execute project / project activities to develop scientific / technical solutions to meet business needsChallenges:Resource (man, material, machine) availability, collaboration / coordination, business dynamics and technical / administrative clarity to troubleshoot things, operate within budget & timelineKey expertise required: Flow modelling, Process Design & Engineering, Numerical mathematics and programming, Plant implementation (Taking lab developed solutions to plant), Process Intensification & process scale-upSoftware Tools / Languages: CFD, C, C++, MATLAB, Python, etc. Key Result Areas Supporting ActionsProject execution & Delivery. Hypothesis generation & Fundamental / design / operational know-how generation to develop a domain expertise . Process / method / product development . Collaboration with internal as well as external support function teams . Project execution planning in coordination with manager / domain leader / plant stakeholders . Leading scientific solution development, plant trials & implementation in collaboration with multiple stakeholders . Data analysis and benefit estimation . Project report writing / presentations Innovation / IP / Publications / Conference. Propose new idea's, explore its feasibility and complete POC experiments . Convert POC's into business project proposals & defend . Referring to scientific literature . Publish patents, journal articles, conference proceedings, etc. Safety. Ensure operational safety by following site-EHS guidelines . Coordination with safety committee . Timely maintenance of equipment’s . SOP / HAZOP document creation and approvalSelf Development & Capability Building. Complete online / offline trainings as per identified developmental goals . Development of expertise in new area, process, equipment, analysis tool, etc. . Knowledge dissemination to fellow team members . Assist other projects where expertise is required Branding. Represent ABSTC within (internal forums) and outside ABGFunctional / Organizational responsibility. Assist in Technology / Functional group meetings . Lab (Experimental/Simulation/Analytical) / scale-up area ownership
