We are Hiring for SQL/Database Developer
Summary/Objective
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouses, consulting on front-end database designs, building and analysing reports. The SQL/Database Developer will also assist in post implementation support and enhancements. Requires expert work experience in SQL/Database Development, Report generation & Analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop SQL code to meet the needs of the business in pre-processing & post-processing of data, reporting, and other call-centre services related functions
- Work closely with cross-functional project implementation teams and others, serving as a technical developer and working to design, develop, test, and implement database
- Design data warehouses, data marts, and metadata
- Develop the semantic layer, reports, and report definitions
- Perform testing and quality assurance on all development
- Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the
- Monitor SQL job performances and report/cube refreshes to ensure results are delivered correctly and according to schedule
- Document system problems and resolutions for future reference
- Write clear and concise system documentation
- Participate in regular process and/or code reviews to ensure they meet enterprise security and coding & documentations
- Contribute to team projects to design a technical solution or application to assist with business cases
- Coordinate with team on work assignments and project
- Collaborate with team on the long-term technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and positioning the business to meet its growth
- Plan activities and report on the progress of assigned projects or
- Knowledge of Database Administration (DBA) would be an added
- Perform other related duties as
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Problem analysis & solution development with exceptional analytical ability
- Excellent knowledge of SQL - Code design, development, and Testing for MS SQL Server
- Report Generation, Analysis & Documentation
- Designing ETL packages, databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance
- Proficiency with SQL and hands on experience in procedures, function, and performance
- Knowledge of programming discipline, design methods, and documentation techniques
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
- Understanding of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid those situations
- Understanding of security issues such as SQL injection while writing code
- Knowledge of programming discipline, design methods, and documentation techniques
- Experience in ETL development
- Expert knowledge of SSIS and SSRS
- Working experience of Database administration will be given
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of training/certifications and
- Salary range 10 Lacs (in INR) to 25 Lacs (in INR)
Job Responsibilities/Availability
SQL/Database Developer will be required for having experience range 5 to 12 years of work experience in the same field with desirable knowledge of SQL/Database development. Person will be required to work in flexible/global time zone (preferably UK shift). Job responsibility will include his/her availability as per business requirements i.e. it is expected to manage time and responsibility effectively.
