Responsibilities

- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

- Understand customer needs and requirements

- Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day

- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Strong listening and presentation skills

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

-Manage the leads of prospect clients from websites, blog sites and social media.

-Doing outbound calls and explaining the product.

-Greet and Understand the Needs of the prospect clients by calling.

-Respond with necessary information and guidance about company services to the clients.

-Support Business Managers in arranging meetings / site visits.

-Manage all systems of prospect clients, lead generation, database management

and back office support.

-Compile and distribute weekly/monthly reports of leads received and work done

on prospect clients.

As a telesales executive part of the company's sales team, his/her primary job is to sell. Telesales executives have set team targets and strategies by their team supervisor. They would mostly be calling a prospective client and persuading them to either purchase/trial a product/service, or accept a visit from another sales team member. Telesales executives must have a clear understanding of the product/service they are selling and should be able to negotiate well.

Competencies and Skills Required

A telesales executive is required to interact with customers for most part of his/her day and so good communication skills are a must. The job also requires good selling and persuading skills and also a thorough understanding of the company's offerings.

  • Answering phones and explaining the product and services offered by the company.
  • Contacting existing customers as well as prospective customers using scripts.
  • Obtaining customer information and other relevant data.
  • Asking questions to the customer and understanding their specifications.
  • Resolving queries and issues related to the products and services.
  • Making recordings of all the sales phone calls and sales deals.
  • Taking and processing product orders in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining the database of the customers on a regular basis.
  • Suggesting solutions based on customers needs and requirements.
