Job Description
Machine Learning Engineer
Designing, developing, and deploying Machine Learning/deep learning systems to solve industry specific problems.
- Exploring, visualizing data and defining the preprocessing strategies
- Feature Engineering and Extraction.
- Running ML/DL tests and experiments.
- Implementing appropriate DL algorithms, training models and tuning their hyperparameters
- Analyzing the errors of the model
- Defining validation strategies and relevant metrics
- Deploying models to production
Required skills:
- Modelling - You should be familiar with ML concepts and algorithms understanding of the internals and pros/cons of models is required.
- Algorithms and Data Structures - You should have strong fundamentals of data structures and commonly used, algorithms.
- Design and build systems that mine massive datasets and structure/ engineer it to be usable for machine learning models. Experience in Big data handling is preferred.
- Strong Python Coding Skills (Object Oriented Programming)
- Knowledge of python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, Keras
- Adept at Machine Learning Concepts like - SVM, Random Forests, Logistic Regression, Bayesian theory, Recommendation systems etc.
- Robust working knowledge with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/ PyTorch
- Good understanding on Statistics, Probability and linear algebra.
- Good knowledge in developing of software applications on Linux environment and maintaining software repositories and code documentation are essential skills.
- Problem solving approach; Communication and articulation skills; Inclination and ability to pick up new techniques/technologies and ability to work in a team
Good to have:
Knowledge of GPU/CUDA programming
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience using statistical computer language R with R Studio
- Use of SQL and page scrapping & other data manipulation tools and packages
- Experience of deploying and putting into production ML based solution
