Inviting applications for the role of AM, COLLATERAL MANAGEMENT Function
Responsibilities
- Collateral collection and release process including client engagement, collateral calls, collateral substitutions, collateral documentation, collateral draws.
- Ensuring all legal documentation is in place and appropriately signed and coordinating with legal function to ensure legal documents are current and up to date.
- Management of collateral, collateral shortfalls, reporting and any subsequent request for collateral.
- Comply with Organization s and Global standards and controls on collateral management.
- Support credit analysts to manage and report on the collateral waiver process.
- As part of the mitigation and management of credit & settlement risk apply monitor and report on alerts and decline controls applied to clients as instructed.
- Provide MI / Reporting in support of the credit analyst team including support on Credit & Settlement Risk projects as required.
- Provide concise insightful MI and reports to support management decisions and risk mitigation.
- Ensuring collateral instruments adhere to Client policies and/or Legal approved formats.
- Management of new collateral instruments (E.g., domestic government bonds and Trust Structures) at designated custodian banks.
- SBLC s management and Cash accounts administration.
- Collateral releases for terminated clients.
- Instructions to clients sending funds to accounts or set-up for collateral releases.
- Management of monthly client statements.
- External client research.
- Diligently monitor all assigned clients exposure to ensure collateral shortfalls are highlighted and rectified in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Collateral Management and Credit Risk Analysis / Underwriting, or equivalent, preferably within the payment services or financial industry.
- Knowledge, understanding and experience of risk management practices in financial services.
- Understanding of the UK and wider European payments and / or financial services
- Masters / Bachelor of Commerce will be required, post graduate qualification as an MBA or CA.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving abilities.
- Position requires the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and handle confidential information discretely and professionally.
- Knowledge of various banking terminologies like SBLC, cash collateral, insurance and waivers.

- Tracking and communication of new collateral requests, renewals, executions, and recordkeeping
- Tracking of SBLC s Expirations, expiration of securities and communications to respective banks
- Replacement communications to clients for collateral renewals
- Client management in REACT
- Clients Watchlist tracking
- Clients (with a special emphasis on Fintech) tracking of risk controls and conditions
- Fintech tracking of Fast Track and waiver conditions
- Acquiring clients volumes tracking and analysis (including deep dive into Acquirer clients volumes and trends)
