Job Description

Auto Glass Technicians replace and repair glass materials in an auto vehicle. Common duties of a skilled Auto Glass Technician are installing backglass heating elements, examining parts for defects prior to installation, priming scratches, removing foreign matter from damaged areas, and removing moldings and windshield wipers before installation or repair work. Successful resumes in the field make display of assets like practical skills, knowledge of auto glass materials, dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, accuracy, detail orientation, and time management. Most resume samples for Auto Glass Technician make display of a high school diploma and the completion of an apprenticeship.
