Job Purpose

Monitoring the team of Lead Ecom Tech Ops to ensure smooth functioning of ecommerce technology operations (inventory, forward orders, returns, refunds) on a daily/ weekly basis for all business lines/ brands of the Company using Cube/ Power BI/ Terradata/ Ecommerce Systems reports and ensuring necessary actions are taken by identifying gaps. Help resolve repeating e-com tech issues by doing root cause analysis of the problems with different tech teams and taking up tech improvements & change requests. Ensuring the tech improvements are delivered as per BRD. Assist Head Ecommerce Technology Operations in defining SOPs for certain processes related to ecommerce and in proposing long term design changes to improve ecommerce process and tech system robustness & reliability.

Job Context

  • This role has high impact on ecommerce business sales, profitability and customer satisfaction as it allows ecommerce technology processes and design to improve. It holds a lot of promise for the individual from the learning standpoint.
  • Individual needs to have a strong problem solving skills, analytical skills, ability to front end discussions with top management and give clear guiding instructions to technical teams on the requirements and carry out execution at a fast pace.

Monitor the team of Lead Ecom Tech Ops to ensure smooth functioning of ecommerce technology operations (inventory, forward orders, returns, refunds) on a daily/ weekly basis for all business lines/ brands of the Company using Cube/ Power BI/ Terradata/ Ecommerce Systems reports and ensure necessary actions are taken by identifying gaps.

Make sure KPIs set for inventory, forward orders, returns, refunds are met on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly basis for all business lines/ brands of the Company.

Help resolve repeating e-com tech issues by doing root cause analysis of the problems with different tech teams and taking up tech improvements & change requests.

Work with different tech teams for changes in the tech to improve the system and make it more robust; align the tech developments across different brands of the Company and monitor them.

Understand issues from ops team and customer service team related to tech.

Be part of the discussions/ meetings with ops and customer service teams to understand the tech related challenges & issues, and provide workarounds.

Assist Head Ecommerce Technology Operations in defining SOPs for certain processes related to ecommerce and in proposing long term design changes.

Assist in improving ecommerce process and tech system robustness & reliability.

Monitor current tasks, assign new tasks and drive utilization of the external vendor resources assigned to the function.

Monitor external vendor resources actions taken on a daily/ weekly basis in the different tech systems; assign new tasks and drive utilization of them; escalate if there are any issues.
