Job Description
:- Must Have 12+ years of experience in IT Industry, 4+ years of relevant experience in IT infra and Public cloud like AWS/Azure
- Lead a team of DevOps Engineers with a vision of achieving a truly scalable container orchestration platform
- Must have proven prior experience in managing a large Kubernetes cluster like Azure AKS, AWS EKS and scaling it significantly at enterprise scale
- Ensure that the container orchestration platform (Docker) like AWS ECS/EKS, Azure AKS is maintained properly by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, performance and system health.
- Must be well versed in generic administration tasks of managing Docker images, container networking and standard infrastructure maintenance tasks on Docker and Kubernetes platform
- Must have knowledge of Linux kernel options such as control groups and defining application groups to restrict resources
- Good hands-on using DevOps and CI/CD methodologies and tools for automated infrastructure code test, integration, deployment, and assurance
- Assist development teams to migrate applications to Docker based PaaS platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Docker and Kubernetes environment
- Develop and maintain automated processes, tools, and documentation in support of Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration platform
- Maintain and troubleshoot services on AWS /AZURE and provide proper resolutions for the incidents
- Involve in migrations and ensure that workloads are migrated without any issues
- Implement best practices by closely analyzing cloud services and recommend best possible solutions
- Solve complex business issues with established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives
- Participate in technical major incident resolutions, preparation and review of RCA documents
- Perform new migrations, consolidation, provisioning and decommissioning projects by coordinating with different teams
- Ensure required documents are in place and review documentation periodically
- Recommend new solutions to the service delivery team for customer communication
- Participate in solution designs that are highly available, secure, and align with standard architectural and disaster recovery standards.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in architecting, designing and developing complex distributed systems
- knowledge about container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and logging/monitoring tools for these orchestration tools.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
- Experience in Terraform including setup of terraform environment, developing TF scripts, importing existing environments is required
- Experience in ANSIBLE for orchestration, and operations automation is required.
- Experience with other automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins would be an advantage Develop and maintain automation and orchestration software and scripting to integrate with all underlying public and private cloud technologies.
- Possesses an Understanding of Tools and Licensing Needs for Production, Development and Testing
