Job Description
BASIC QUALIFICATION:
Educational Qualification : B.E (or) B.Tech Mechanical
Year of Experience Required : 7 to 10 Years
Field of Experience : Boiler Engineering (Industrial / Power), Power Plant
JOB PROFILE:
Following are the Job Profile to be considered for the Design Engineer Position in Boiler Division during the course of sort-listing the candidate for interview.
Candidate shall be Self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with experience in the field of Boiler Engineering and hand on experience in the supervising of Boiler engineering design outputs
Candidate to be involved in proposal as well as execution engineering of projects starting with feasibility study, layout preparation & optimization, design deliverables works and Project review meeting with clients.
Candidate shall be capable in Engineering and development services in proposal & execution stage of project to meet plant requirement and design / layout optimization for Boiler Engineering.
Candidate should have proficiency in engineering and calculations as per standards of Boilers and Piping viz. IBR, ASME, EN, ISO, Indian Standard etc.
Candidate shall be capable in Co-ordination with Inter-discipline team such as Civil, Structures, Electrical & C&I to ensure the optimized Boiler layout based on Project/Tender specification.
Candidate shall be capable in Handling and Monitoring the Boiler Design team by making micro-level planning to meet the project deliverable schedule.
Candidate shall attend the meetings with project managers, clients & consultants to get the approval for the engineering documents/drawings.
Candidate shall co-ordinate with procurement team to finalize the vendor packages by conducting technical bid evaluation according to Project/Tender specification/Purchase order requirement.
Preparing of Material forecast in line with Project/Tender specification/Purchase order requirement is must
Hands on experience in Basic Engineering of Boiler such as Thermal Design Calculation, Process Design Calculation, Pressure Parts Strength Calculation, Piping Strength Calculation are must.
Hands on experience in Detail Engineering of Boiler Pressure Parts Such as Drums, Water Wall, Super Heaters, Economizer, Evaporator, Bank Tubes, Downcomers, Risers, Super Heater Links, Deaerator, Blowdown Tank, etc.
Hands on experience in Detail Engineering of Boiler Non-Pressure Parts Such as Air Preheater, Casings, ESP, Chimney, Etc.
Hands on experience in Detail Engineering of Boiler Ducting Such as Air Ducting, Flue Gas Ducting, Dampers, Expansion Bellow, Etc.
Hands on experience in Detail Engineering of Boiler Structures Such as Boiler Support, Buck stays, Hanger Rod Supports, Duct Supports, Pipe Supports, Fan Handling Structures, Roof Structure, Columns, Tie-Beams, Bracing, Platforms, Grating, Handrails, etc.
Hands on experience in Detail Engineering of Boiler Piping Such as Feed Water Piping, Soot Blower Piping, Drain Piping, Spray Water Piping, Blowdown Piping, etc,
Hands on experience in Review and Release of Fabrication Drawings ensuring compliance to codes, standards and project specification is must
Hands on experience in co-ordination with Site/Fabrication team to ensure the compliance of project execution as per Tender requirement
Proactive approach in problem solving is must
Candidate must have capable to make development/customization/standardization to reduce the project engineering time.
Exposure in Power plant engineering is added advantage.
Knowledge in 3D Engineering Tools is added advantage.
