Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing Fintech analytics software firm and they are looking for experienced and enthusiastic IT engineers with an excellent academic and professional background who wish to pursue a career in Business Performance Analytics in the Financial Services domain. Successful candidates will be working on building and enriching patented software providing Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to its clients.
Position : Java Test Lead ( Exact designation based on experience )
Education : B. Tech/ MCA
Experience : 6-7 years
Location : Gurgaon
Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience
Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :
1. Candidate must have at least 6-7 years of experience in testing Web Applications. Preference will be given to experience with Applications written on Java backend with React or other JS framework frontend. Required key skill-set is as follows.
Ability to write Test Cases and Test Scenarios for Functionality, System Testing, Regression testing and GUI Testing.
Ability to create or use a platform for storing test case and scenarios, as well as test result status for various scenarios.
Ability to use the Selenium Web Driver to automate web application testing.
Ability to use scripts, API tools (e.g. Postman) or other tools to automate test execution and verification.
Ability to train junior members of the team on how to use the platforms above.
Ability to use and setup Git to maintain an effective version control environment that can help manage feeature releases and emergency fixes simultaneously.
Ability to use Jenkins or other CI tools to be able to deploy and promote builds.
Ability to use log readers and log analyzers to look for issues not always evident on GUI testing.
2. Candidate should be a B Tech from an institute of repute. MCA candidates with strong experience and well established capabilities can be considered. Should be willing to travel internationally for client interactions as required by the organization. Should have good interpersonal skills, and adequate client facing and communication skills. Should be a fast and willing learner. Demonstrated agility to rapidly adapt to new platforms and design paradigms is a must. Should be able to cope up with work pressures of a fast-growing IT start-up.
