Data Scientist L1, L2, L3 @ Sar Infotech

1. Background in Computer Science, Computer Applications or any quantitative discipline (Statistics,
Mathematics, Economics,Operations Research etc.) from a reputed institute.

2. 2+ yrs of experience using analytical tools languages like Python, R, SAS, SQL
3. Must have excellent working knowledge having delivered industry solutions in Image processing using
any popular Deep learning frameworks like Open CV, PyTorch, Theano, Tensor Flow, Caffe
4. Proven track record of building Statistical and Deep Learning models and implementing them into
production
5. Must have delivered analytics solutions using Machine Learning techniques such as Linear Regression,
gradient descent, Logistic Regression, Forecasting, Cluster analysis, Decision trees, Linear Optimization,
Text Mining etc.
6. Ability to work on large scale data (structured and unstructured) having applied fundamentals in data
management, parallel computing and distributed systems.
7. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment.
8. Must be able to work across different domains and get a quick sense of the business processes &
flows.
9. Ability to translate business problems into the data realm and identify pertinent and meaningful
solutions.
10. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong urge to learn, iterate and
innovate.
11. Passionate about applying emerging DL frameworks to solve business problems and like working in
an extremely dynamic, fast paced environment.
12. Understanding business problems, making sense of the data landscape & footprint, performing a
combination of exploratory, Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics.
13. Extracting actionable insights and helping put together an execution roadmap.
14. Must be able to contribute to the development of our proprietary analytics product, a repository of
solutions and leverage analytics for better consumption of data. Proficient in Python.

Essential experience of Software Engineering Techniques, Source Control software like (Git),
Design Patterns, Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience of Major Data Science/Analysis libraries (Tensorflow, Pandas, Scikit-learn etc) or
similar.
Experience with Azure is essential
Experience developing data-driven algorithms and productionising solutions
Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, etc.)
Good knowledge of agile delivery experience for software and systems (ideally Scrum and,
possibly, Kanban)
Knowledge/experience of RESTful or SOAP API data service development.
Experience in combining modelling and data-driven techniques
Experience of developing models to solve problems in the supply chain, Transport and
manufacturing.
