Job Description
The incumbent should be a BE / B.Tech - Chemical with minimum of 12- 15 years of process experience in Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Alkalis Industry.
Note: First preference will be given to candidate who are having experience in Alkalis industry.

Job Description:
- Enhance plants operational efficiency, process & operational safety and plant availability through the addition of new facilities and by enhancing instrumentation.
- Performance tracking of all processes and parameters, especially Electrolysers performance.
- Commission new projects. Update P&ID and ensure documentation of changes in management.
- Ensure solid wastes are removed periodically without any accumulation.
- Execution of electrolyser re-membraning, including planning for its material.
- Schedule and co-ordinate the shut down jobs including electrolyser refurbishing and remembraning.
- Root cause analysis of break downs and stoppages within 24 hrs and implementing corrective and preventive action in consultation with the concerned HODs.
- Scheduling of department manpower.
- Provide guidance to Shift Engineers and Operators about handling any problems arising during the shift.
- Compilation of shut down jobs and co-ordination for timely completion of jobs during shut down.
- Act on customer complaints and initiating action for avoiding recurrence
- Guide Shift Engineers/Operators during critical equipment changeover/isolation.
- Execute the scheduled process maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain the SHEMS documents of the entire Process Department.
- Conduct internal audit.
- Oversee the process parameters and take corrective action in case of any deviation.
- Ensure the plant has undergone a safe shut down sequence.
- Safe start up of plant as and when required.
