Job Description

The incumbent should be a BE / B.Tech - Mechanical with minimum of 12- 15 years of mechanical maintenance experience in Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Alkalis Industry.

Designation: Manager Mechanical Maintenance

Reporting to: VP (Operations)

Job Description:

• Maintenance of structural, piping, supports, equipment erection & dismantling works to ensure healthiness and safety of the plant.
• Monitoring and scheduling for regular & preventive maintenance activities on all equipment and the structure etc.
• Scheduling of all equipments and implementation of preventive / Periodic Maintenance.
• All breakdown jobs are attended to immediately and rectification of works carried out in time.
• Responsible for overall housekeeping and shifting MS and other Scrap materials to Yard.
• Fabrication and errection of equipments.
• To ensure maintenance jobs are taken with proper work permit.
• To plan, supervise fabrication and erection works related to maintenance and project.
• Preparation of job requisition and completion projects.
• Assisting project department in expansion.
• Optimum utilization of consumables.
• To follow safety procedures, educate and guide workmen & contractors.
• Preparation of work permits to ensure maintenance jobs are taken with proper care.
• Responsible for indenting and consumption of procured material in a time bound manner to ensure minimum inventory at any point of time.
• Ensures the departmental activities are in compliance with respect to SHE.
• Maintenance of Cranes and Fork Lifts.
