Job Profile:
1. Responsible for managing the capacity and capability of an organisational unit.
2. Assign people, equipment, facilities, funding, or other resources needed by a project or a team to perform its tasks.
3. Maintain close contact with staff on status of their work.
4. Communicates and enforces the engineer s responsibility for tracking their progress and adherence to budgeted hours through task planning.
5. Develops action plans and coordinates resources to address and resolve problems as needed.
6. The agile product owner ( product owner within the Scrum framework, or backlog manager in other agile documents) is the role assumed by the person who is responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the development team
7. Provide leadership and direction to the staff of engineers within the team.
8. Ensures adherence to engineering processes to provide high quality designs that meet customer s schedule and expectation, including but not limited to Agile methodologies.
9. Ensure that the engineering team is focused on meeting the financial, schedule and technical requirements of the projects they are responsible.
