Job Description
We are looking for a Data Modeler to design, implement and document dataarchitecture to support enterprise information management, business intelligence,machine learning, data science, and other business processes. The ideal candidatewill be an expert in creating data models across different data domains, and workwith enterprise requirements from business analysts, data architects, dataadministrators, database developers, and data scientists. This is a full-time positionlocated in Mumbai.Responsibilities
Interacting with key stakeholders of the project (BA, Product Owners/Users,
Source/Target Systems, Development Teams)
Stay abreast of data architecture and database technologies and methodologies and
provide recommendations for new tools and processes
Design and implement Data Migration and Integration processes
Define, Understand and enforce data architecture standards, procedures, metrics,
policies, security guidelines
Understanding of ETL methodologies and Data Warehousing principles, approaches,
technologies, and architectures including the concepts, designs, and usage of data
warehouses and data marts
Knowledge of master data management and data governance
Writing High-Level Design & Detailed Mapping for the requirements, Data Analysis,
Assisting Data Modeler
Extensive knowledge in Designing ETL/ELT frameworks, writing Detailed Design
Specifications, Data Analysis.
Strong negotiating skills to finalize design decisions with stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
Strong experience in AWS cloud, Redshift, Big Data technologies (preferred), Python
Scripting (nice to have)
Experience in Shipping domain or Supply chain domain
Strong experience in Data Integration Landscape with multiple projects implementation
Data Modeling & Architecture Skills (good understanding & NoSQL modeling experience
required)
Design the Enterprise Data Warehouse physical implementation star schema
Design analytical models that support complex data analytical reporting
Good Database SQL experience
Strong experience in Data Integration Landscape with multiple projects implementation

5 years of professional experience in developing Entity Relationship Diagrams and
Dimensional Models.
5 years of professional experience in Data Modeling tools such as ER/Studio Data
Architect or ERwin.
5 years of experience in writing SQL scripts
Bachelor's Degree with equivalent work experience of 5 years
3+ experience with the design and implementation of dimensional, relational, and
transactional production database systems (MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
Hands-on experience with big data architecture and tools and considerations for
scalable, distributed systems.
Experience with cloud computing infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with short
deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring simultaneously
Defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and
determining technical approaches to ensure solutions result in a coherent systems
design
Providing support/guidance to development teams during the analysis, development,
and testing processes
Strong problem solving, influencing, communication, and presentation skills, selfstarter
Ability to work with diverse teams across the globe with flexibility in time zone
challenges
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
Skilled in explaining complex findings and approaches to nontechnical or junior-level
audience
Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Strong customer focus experience
Experience in making data meaningful to the customer
