CBO IP Protection Manager
As a key member of Micron's Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) team within Micron's CBO's Group, you will be responsible for protecting Micron's information and data assets. You will collaborate with business area representatives to gain a high level of understanding in how information is used within the department along with the systems and controls supporting the exchange and lifecycle of these assets. With area business and information knowledge, you will partner with leadership to assess the criticality and classification of information towards Micron's IPP objectives. You will also collaborate with our global IPP team to provide risk-based advice and insight to build, advocate, and implement solutions to classify and enable data handling requirements that protect information from internal and external threats while ensuring our team members are able to efficiently access information needed to perform their jobs. You will gain a broad perspective by working on a variety of information sources, control solutions, and dynamic business conditions across a global organization to analyze issues, make well-reasoned recommendations and solve problems to protect and enhance organizational value.
Responsibilities:
  • Liaison between business areas & RBAC (Remote Based Access Control) project team
  • Primary point of contact for your business areas
  • Provide all required local communication & updates
  • Identify & deploy pilot users for RBAC testing
  • Facilitate RBAC business surveys
  • Discuss access requirements with SMEs
  • Oversight of all areas and specific applications
  • Ensuring access Learning Events alignment
  • Challenge nice to have vs need-to-know access requests
  • Analyze & Mapemployees into roles
  • Drive RBAC sprints progress every 4 weeks
  • Drive RBAC alignment with peer teams
  • Manage RBAC exception requests
  • Accountable overallRBAC contact
  • Help fill and manage IP exception requests
  • Documentation support
  • Communication plans
  • EPIC portal support
  • Area meetings support

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to effectively communicate details and vision in appropriate terminology at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to balance security with end user productivity and operational impacts in a large organization to provide transparent, secure solutions
  • Strong Agile development expertise, build in increments and iterate
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to see solutions to their conclusion
  • Ability to be self-directed and a fast learner and ability to gain understanding of new solutions
  • A sense of urgency, prioritization, and growth mindset
  • Demonstrated ability of leadership without authority in collaboration, driving consensus, connectivity, inspiration, and motivation in support of common goals, vision, and strategy
  • Work closely with senior leadership globally to identify new RBAC opportunities and risks, solve issues proactively, provide security advisory direction

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project and/or Program Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
