The cleaning supervisor sets the tone for the cleaning team and acts as an ambassador in relation to the estate brand
Cleaning supervisors are to assist in the collation of time and attendance data and assist with pay queries as and when required
Cleaning supervisors will consistently review practices and identify efficiencies as a result of close working with the cleaning team
Be able to complete dynamic risk assessments and have a good understanding of H&S documentation
Be able to carry out investigations in relation to breaches of discipline and make recommendations as per the IFM disciplinary procedure
Be able to deputise for the Deputy Soft Services Manager in his/her absence and be able to undertake those duties
Cleaning supervisors are to assist in undertaking performance reviews of members of the cleaning team
Cleaning supervisors have overall responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation so that the building and its surrounding area are clean and safe for people to live or work in.
Cleaning supervisors will be required to supervise all areas are to be kept to a very high standard of cleanliness at all times
Cleaning supervisors will deliver excellent customer service to both guests, customers and staff
Cleaning supervisors will seek out opportunities to interact with the guests and tenants in a positive fashion to enhance their experience here in Covent Garden
Cleaning supervisors have a responsibility to maintain the assigned areas to a very high standard at all times across the all cleaning department
Carry out duties as directed by the Soft Services Manager
Ensure that all cleaners clean and maintain the area in a litter free condition
Clean and maintain all back up areas to a high standard of cleanliness
React to all requests from the client or management team within the specified time frame
Work in a safe manner at all times
Notice and report any H&S issues that may arise within the estate
Represent the brand in a positive fashion at all times
Deliver an excellent experience to all customers and guests
Use all assigned equipment in a safe manner and ensure that is passed across the cleaning team
Use all PPE that is required and provided for all tasks
Follow all legislation that pertains to the delivery of any tasks assigned to you, such as COSHH
Provide weekly inspections reports to the Cleaning Manager
Monitor/ report staff absence/lateness
