Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Project/Release methodology:Agile-Scrum, WaterfallR&R

-Understand the HansenCOTS capabilities and the overlay implementation needs from customer Working closely with team leads and management

Design and develop programming systems as per the functional/performance needs

Analyse, design, ownthe specific development and testing ofsystems.

Responsible for analysis of module based on current programs/configuration.

Interfaces design and development

Hands onperformance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem.

Responsible for developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product.

Responsible for development of assignedprograms, complying programming standardsand development processes.

Responding promptly andprofessionally to bug reports and service requests

Review and repair legacy codewithrecommendations for retrofit.

Should be able to create software builds, patches.

support the QA/UAT/Acceptance test/Production Testphases in multi time zone(needs of project

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical:

Good understanding and hands-on over core and advanced Java programming, REST/SOAP, secured webservices and security certificate handling, JVM parameter analysis and tuning awareness, different Design patterns, CVS/GIT and Maven hands-on, containers (Jboss, WLS, Docker), Unix/Linux OS, Shell script concepts, SQL and PL-SQL awareness, standard protocols like SOAP/REST, TCP, strong debugging and trouble shooting

Soft skills:

Good interpersonal skills, good written/verbal communication, positive and can-do attitude, result oriented, good team player, good learning appetite, agile/waterfall methodology

Industry awareness:

Latest technologies -cloud, IOT, DevOps/CI-CD, security / GDPR norms awareness
