Job Description
Responsibilities: Develop tagging frameworks outlining all the functionalities required for tagging
Effectively collaborate with the business and technical stakeholders, as needed, to
gather requirements and showcase the work done
Create specifications/mock-ups as necessary for the implementation of new functionality.
Design end-to-end analytics solutions to convert requirements to solution design
reference (SDR), define, and create datalayer/bundle tagging guides as per the industry
for analytics and marketing tools.
Implement Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Firebase and Branch across
the life-cycle of various platforms like websites, mobile applications, amp pages, wordpress etc.
Handle tagging and 3rd party code implementation through Google tag manager
Work with development and cross functional teams to ensure proper implementation is
done as per the requirement.
Manage data sanity and toll gate the new implementation before release.
Auditing existing setup of tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc and
remediating any gaps identified.
Auditing existing setup of tools for apps like Firebase, CleverTap, Adjust of large
e-commerce brands and remediating any gaps identified.
Analyze data generated by online user activity (besides the raw numbers) and draw
actionable conclusion
Create reports on data studio and similar data visualization tools.
Creating performance report as per the requirements from different teams
Reporting your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand.
Communicating insights and providing solutions that have demonstrable results.
Strategize, plan and implement necessary events, custom reports, tag of GA with the
help of tech/product team
Understanding the behavior and expectations of online visitors.
Staying up to date with the latest trends in online marketing and design.
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for
improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members
and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing
useful reports.
Sharing feedback on parameters being tracked by the client in the web / app analytics
setup.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science or other related field.
Previous tag setup, technical checks, data mining and analysis experience.
Strong verbal and visual communication skills to present and explain insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with different people in engineering, marketing and creative
fields.
Well versed with tracking tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, Adobe Analytics, etc. and
tag management tools like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, etc.
Experience working with single page applications, or Native App(s), including Android
and iOS
Have a strong grip on languages like HTML and JavaScript to develop custom tags
Knowledge of SQL is a must
