Job Description
Location : Andheri, Mumbai
Package : Upto 12 LPA
Supervision and monitoring:
Supervision and monitoring all Operation and documentation activities on day to day basis and to ensure all processes are carried out in a timely and professional manner based on the Company's objective. Oversee all documentations and assignments and to ensure appropriate documentations/clearances are done.
Formulate guidelines to implement right shipping practices & procedures for the team.
Ensure compliance to customs regulation & tariff for import / export.
Ensure adherence to principal's procedure.
Monitor activities and make changes where necessary which will add value.
Evaluate information /results and choose the best solution to solve problems.
Ensure Re-export /Bond Cancellation is done on monthly/weekly basis.
Keeping abreast of all operational matters with clients and providing updates to Manager
Attending customs issue, show cause notices, personal hearing etc on behalf of principal.
Data Integrity and Quality: Monitoring and evaluating the accuracy and timely updates and application of system to meet the Principals requirements and KPI within company set parameters
Ensure HSSE policy is followed without any deviation
Ensure 100% accuracy in data input
Ensure Liner KPI maintained.
Co-ordination and documentation: Co-ordinate with the Liner Ops executives to ensure a consistent, effective and professional delivery of services are taking place and consistent with customer instruction and prescribed corporate guideline.
Customer Service Excellence: Identify, understand and meet internal customer needs by demonstrating high level of commitment and applying maximum efforts to achieve results to the highest quality standards thus maintaining and exceeding customer satisfaction. Applying promptly corrective actions to the service failures and ensuring that they do not reoccur in the future.
Ensure prompt response to emails from customers / Principal and Internal.
Keeps other Liner colleagues and Operations-Liner team and Principals updated of progress made with discharge and loading operations on timely basis.
Administrative and Clerical support:
Provide a full range of administrative and clerical support to the Port Managers/supervisors, to ensure smooth functioning of the business through consistent, fair and equitable administrative practices and in congruence with the QMS standards of the ISS.
Monitor vessel performance
Check vessel movement / berthing of competition vessels for academic records.
Delegation of task to be done and person to be made responsible / accountable
Safety, Quality and Environment: Ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures in accordance with ISS Quality Management System and ISS Health and Safety Environment policies and procedures to deliver highest quality services to the customers.
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with Customers, relevant Government departments and agencies, local authorities, key-decision-makers and other stakeholders generally to exchange information and views and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate rage and quality of services. Maintain an awareness of customer requirements and any complaints to identify any areas that may need development or improvement.
Reporting:
Weekly/Monthly preparation and submission of Operational Liner report to provide updates of performance and any irregularities and to ensure monthly submission of other operation, commercial and quality assurance reports
Corporate Compliance:
Ensuring 100% corporate compliance and ethic policies in all activities.
