Zonal Head - Sales

Qualification
B.Sc /M.Sc (Life-sciences) or any Engineering / MBA

CTC
6 L / annum plus incentives

Zones
South (Chennai, Hyd, Bangalore) (one position)
North (Delhi + NCR) (one postion)

Primary Role

Will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in all aspects of Sales, Specifications & Field Marketing in the assigned Zone to achieve the business objectives. This would include sales process improvement and infrastructure management.

Job Description

Reports directly to the Sales Head.
Works closely with Customer success executives appointed within the region and assures overall team target be met
Drive identified Initiatives in the Zone to achieve the overall sales objectives
Works closely with Product application specialist (PAS) to ensure smooth download of technical know how of the products to the client
Ensures that the team in his zone performs as per expectations set by the company
Scan the Market and come out with strategic plans for customer acquisitions
Responsible for end-to-end service delivery to the acquired customer.
Engages with the production team for monthly / quarterly expected production based on the estimated sales from his zone
Ensures that the client achieves his desired objectives after product implementation
Ensures 100% compliance management after product implementation
Provides key customer insights on a monthly basis for product improvement
Collects competitor insights on a regular basis from the market

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategize for the achievement of regional sales targets through the zonal team by breakdown of annual targets to half yearly then quarterly and finally monthly.
Continuously monitoring the achievement of targets by keeping close check on monthly target achievement by regional manager, area manager and their respective team.
Ensure satisfactory resolution of client queries and concerns in a timely manner.
Identify & effectively implement Major and Key initiatives at zonal level in the areas of Market Development, Distribution expansion & Sales Operation
Identify the critical/burning issues of the Zone affecting sales & take remedial action/ escalate wherever needed
Identify and work with the Services Team to develop Authorized applicators in the Zone.
Communicate product schemes and offers to the regional managers and ensure their implementation.
Coordinates with marketing for the organization of seminars, meets and conferences on zonal level for building a prospective client database.
Interacts with customers for product feedback.
Enhance productivity
Ensures the maintenance of NORMS AND STANDARD OF COMPANY POLICIES.
Increase morale in his/her team during meeting and in batch wise sessions and maintain discipline and decorum in his/her team.
Planning and structuring the business and team.
Increase the morale of people to take new responsibilities and develop new managers in his team
Regular joint work with : Sales Executives, Area sales manager or Regional sales manager
Ability to prioritize multiple competing high priority needs with the agility to shift work when needed while maintaining focus and meeting committed timelines
Reports in the CRM provided by the company

Desired Job Prole
Good communication skill in English (Hindi and regional language is a plus)
Quality minded, improvement oriented, Good interpersonal skill and independently motivated with good problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and in team environment
Located in the zone where the job location is posted.
Networker with excellent communication skills, dynamic, team player with a customer-oriented attitude;
Ability to negotiate and is driven
Self-starter and monitor deadlines
Expert knowledge of microbiology is a plus but not limiting to.
Is open to learn and is willing to travel
