Job Description
4 to 8 yrs relevant work experience in SDET roleProficient in Ruby, Java and other languages based UI Test Automation tools
Strong work experience automating WebUI-based applications using Ruby, RSpec, Selenium, Allure Reports
Strong hands-on experience with locator strategies and handling wait conditions in Ruby Automation frameworks
Ability to quickly build framework components and reusable assets using design patterns
Good knowledge of web services standards, API Testing and related technologies (REST, SOAP, XML) using Postman or similar tools
Well versed working with RestAssured or similar HTTP Client libraries for API Automation
Experience in developing automation scripts using various framework approaches as Modular, Keyword driven and Data-driven
Analysing functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for test cases and test scripts
Experience testing in cross-browser
Ability to mentor and guide the testing team to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Experience with tools like JIRA, SharePoint, Rally, wiki, etc
Should have worked on source code management tools like GIT/SVN
Experience integrating the test framework with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium Grid) in the cloud and data-centre based infrastructure
Experience working in Agile development methodology and fast-paced delivery model
Propensity to probe and find defects
Inquisitive, methodical, and analytical in testing applications
Roles & Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach other QE engineers in the team
Breakdown complex tasks into smaller chunks of work and have a clear understanding of defined tasks
Ability to quickly understand complex functionalities and build automation assets with reusability, stability and high quality
Write utilities/automation tools using Java, Ruby, Python, REST and more
Root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
Ability to collaborate with test engineers, SDETs, developers and other stakeholders
Passionate to innovate & implement ideas to address efficiency, best practices, improved processes, and custom solutions
Communicate daily status reports in Scrum and participate in agile ceremonies
Document process, designs, test results, and analysis reports
