Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Expert shop Paint Engineer will be responsible for the correct operation of the blasting-coating lines. Expand Knowledge in the Operation (Painting , Insulation , Galvanic , Pickling/Passivation and cathode protection) of static equipment's ( pressure vessels ,columns , exchangers and tanks ), Skids, Pipe lines and steel structures.
Interface and coordinate with clients for production and QC matters.
Prepare & follow the procedure of Coating, Insulation ,pickling , Protection Fireproofing according to project requirements and client specifications..
Implementing a standard in the painting equipment and will be responsible for ensuring the necessary production output with the right quality and targeted the daily, weekly & monthly plan.
Responsible for coordinating preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance processes.
Assess and remediate failures in painted parts and associated processing steps.
Works on daily and long-term problems/projects using manufacturing, quality, production and estimate the coating cycle time.
Estimate the required man hours related to the coating projects & preparing the budget related to each project we receive and the required manpower to complete the job with the agreed budgeting.
Supports new product development projects, determines cost estimates along with conceptual process layouts for given project.
Develops process, safety, ergonomic and material handling improvement solutions.
Serves manufacturing operations as KEY SUPPORT person leading resolutions to problems, implementing improvement and leading projects to completion.
Qualification & Experience:
Must haveNace, B-Gas or equivalent certification.
Must have experience of working in Steel factory as painting shop engineer.
Experience in static equipment's, pipe rack , Platform, repairs(onshore and offshore).
Good experience in coating process and specifications.
Good experience in Blasting (Manual and operating shoot machine) like structural, skids, pressure vessel, heat exchanger, furnaces ,Boilers and petrochemical
