Job Description: Lead and take ownership of the client Inter-company reconciliation activity, ensuring the variances are being accurately identified and effectively reconciled, prior to reporting. To take ownership of the regional level Trial Balances, developing effective monitoring mechanisms to track the movements therein, thereby ensuring correctness and accuracy of month-end reporting. Work with the Regional Teams and submit the ICQ Form Facilitate the Zero Day Closing for the month with close coordination with multiple Regions and ensure that the Group Reporting Deadlines adhered Close monitoring of issues identified during Inter-company reconciliations. Coordinating with respective entities and ensuring prompt escalation as per defined escalation matrix and following-up for resolution and effective closure thereon. Complete review of the GL for all the costs and revenues to be captured (applicable for the month & YTD) Identify the related party schedule that needs to be uploaded into HFM (fully reconciled with the partners) and share with the consolidation Team Coordinating closely with the Corporate Reporting and Consolidation team in identifying Cost and Profit centers within business lines | projects, in order to facilitate cost | profit center wise reporting. Critical review of the performance and efficacy of team members balancing the requirements towards succession planning of the organization and aspirations of the individual personnel towards personal growth Lead the co-ordination effort across the companies within the Regions to collate information requirement | explanations towards variance on behalf of the Corporate Consolidation group during the monthly | quarterly | annual closing. Coordinate with Corporate audit department in anticipation of their reporting requirement and ensuring these are met before the deadlines to ensure smooth facilitation of the report. Primarily responsible for identifying, listing out and managing the operational risks across the Reconciliation process across all the business entities within the Region Responsible for setting up Internal controls processes and procedures in line with risks identified across the end-to-end processes Responsible for maintaining and updation of the procedures related financial policies and procedures in line with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate governance guidelines and Risk assessment results Ability to overcome and work under challenging work conditions (Pandemic | natural calamities possibly affecting deliverables | personal commitments) and supporting the onsite corporate team ensuring delivery to match their commitments
