We are looking for Team Lead : ---Linux for our Pune Location.
About the role
The Software Engineer, Linux Platforms will primarily be responsible for development and implementation of embedded Linux middleware and applications for intelligent telemetry and cashless payment systems. The role requires a thoughtful approach to develop applications for new and existing Linux based embedded systems, as well as, solving problems stemming from customer, field support, sales and production related issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement middleware and applications for variety of embedded Linux devices
Develop and maintain common firmware middleware applications
Contribute to Embedded Linux device security
Create and review design documentation
Participating the code review activities
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
9+ years of experience in Linux System Engineering, understanding of Linux and OS internals
5+ years of programming, software development or automation testing experience with at least one programming languages such as C, C++, conventional Linux scripting languages (bash, python, shell etc.) is a plus
Experience in ARM toolchains usage
Strong understanding of STL library, Boost is a plus
Strong understanding of application development using Object-oriented approach
Strong understanding of multithreading SW development (IPC, synchronization mechanisms)
Strong understanding of periphery interfaces (uart, spi, i2c, usb)
Understanding of design patterns
Practicing the C++14 standard is preferable
Understanding of Open source Linux development, licensing and Application security
Experience in issue-tracking systems maintenance (Jira, Trac)
Git/Gerrit/repo hands-on experience (merge, rebase, revert, git workflow)
