Job Scope for QA Engineer

Report to Operations Manager

Candidates from PCB / Electronics manufacturing industry preferred

Job Requirement

1) Quality Control

1. Ensure that incoming raw material, in-process and finished products are check & verified for

suitability of use

1. Conduct in-process & out going checks to ensure that products are manufactured as per process

procedures.

1. To carry out test on solder product, customers samples, fluxes & other chemical products.
2. To ensure proper documentation are carried out & filed all test data generated from QC activities.
3. Maintain traceability of quality records for all supplied raw materials and production finished / semi

finished goods, in accordance with company guidelines.

1. Familiar with in-house analytical & testing capabilities & limitation;
2. Use sound quality & analytical tools, like 8-D, Pareto Analysis, Fish Bone Diagram, 5-Why, 5-S etc in

analysis of product defects, and process / product improvement.

1. Liaise with customer & internal department to work out solution regarding all quality problems,

investigate and analyze customer complaints, facilitate 8D analysis and initiate corrective &

preventive actions.

1. Coordinate & handle customer audits and surveillance audits by certifying bodies.

2) Documentation and Control

1. To control, maintain & issue all technical documents related to our products. For example product

profile (PF), SDS, Customer Specifications, Standards, SOPs.

1. To manage the companys ISO system involving the following scope:
2. i) Document control of QM / QP and SOPs
3. ii) Plan & carry out QMS Audit
4. ii) System implementation

3) Qualification / Skills Desired

1. Degree in Chemical engineering / Chemistry / Metallurgy.
2. Working experience for analytical equipment preferred.
3. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 preferred but not compulsory.
4. Working knowledge of QC solving tools.
5. PC skills necessary for preparation of reports & findings
6. Good command of English necessary.
7. Be part of the ISO team.
