What will you contribute

Reporting to the Manager, the Software Engineer designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high-quality software product applications.This position is located in Trivandrum.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
General Profile

• Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a technical job discipline
• Performs standard technical assignments and develops deeper understanding of technical concepts
• Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
• Receives technical guidance and direction from more senior level roles
• Entry level to a technical professional career progression

Functional Knowledge

• Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a technical job discipline typically gained through university education or equivalent experience
• Has some exposure to current technologies through course work or internship settings

Business Expertise

• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience

Leadership

• No supervisory responsibilities accountable for developing technical contribution and resolving assigned issues

Problem Solving

• Solves problems in straightforward situations where analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors exercises judgement within defined methods and practices to determine appropriate action
• Gathers information and requirements in order to solve problems

Impact

• Impacts own work team works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

Interpersonal Skills

• Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Required Experience:

• Good to have knowledge in software development including design and development
• Good to have knowledge in C#, WPF, PowerShell
• Good to have knowledge in RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS,
• Good to have knowledge in Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good to have knowledge in SQL.
• Good to have knowledge in JIRA & TFS/VSTS.
• Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
• Knowledge in Banking domain or Financial industry would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills verbal & written
• Required Experience: 0-2 years
