JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Project Manager- R&D (with IOT/Firmware/Embedded System Products)
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Reporting to: Sr. GM Technology
Reported by: Sr. Embedded Engr., Engineer, Test Engineer, Mechanical Design Engr., Support Engineer
Job Essential:

• Engineering in Electronics or EC or ICT or other discipline
• Throughout experience in IT industry with demonstrable experience and evidence of success in existing role
• Knowledge of Hardware design, Firmware design, Product packaging, Compliance to various standards, Production
• Knowledge of IoT, Wireless comm. interface and comm. Protocols.

Job Responsibilities.

• 10 - 12 years of experience in Hardware and Firmware design and development and exp. in IOT domain
• 8+ years of experience in Hardware Design & Development.
• 8/16/32 bit microcontroller based hardware design,
• Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal Design, Power supply design,
• Sensor selection
• Schematic and PCB design,
• Mechanical packaging design,
• Compliance to various standards
• Rapid prototyping
• Cost optimization

Nice to have High speed board design and RF design exp.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in - Firmware design and development
• Embedded C/C++ programming, Python
• Raspberry Pi
• RTOS, Linux, File systems, Quectel M66-OpenCPU experience nice to have
• Wireless communication (Zigbee, Bluetooth, LoRA/LoRaWAN, GSM/GPRS, 3G/4G/NB-IoT),
• MQTT, HTTPS communication
• Experience in algorithm development
• Various development tools
• Around 5 years of Project Management experience
• Experience of team handling
• Willingness to work in social sector
• Ability to build long term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Key Skills Required:

• Project management experience of handling R&D projects
• Team building and management
• Ability to choose appropriate technology
• Ability to communicate ideas, views, suggestions effectively and win trust of opposite person
• Identification of suitable microcontroller/processor and architecting solution to meet the project need.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Manage R&D projects ensuring project management process follow-up like Planning, Scope, Cost, Time and Quality management, monitoring and control, stakeholder management, resource management, risk management, procurement etc.
2. Manage R&D team by working with them to plan and prioritize their workloads, set objectives, recruiting, identify and fulfil team's training need and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
3. Identify suitable technology and act in alignment with user needs and system functionality, Architect solution and help team during development and resolve issues and Review work products
4. Manage day to day operations of R&D team ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines and budgets are within control
5. Ensure ISO9001 processes are followed and handle internal/external audit
6. Manage relationships with other departments, external agencies and suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial constraints and ongoing service is in-line with agreed contracts
