We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Day to Day job Duties:
- Participate in Due Diligence, Assessment of Life Insurance and Annuity Conversions.
- Builds thorough understanding of client's business, technology and process needs.
- Identification of GAPs and enhancing the conversion layouts as per client / product requirements.
- Working with Program management team in schedule preparation, tracking and estimation.
- Create a flexible technical design that is scalable and reusable.
- Creation of Technical specification based on Business requirements.
- Create and updation of conversion programs written in COBOL.
- Work closely with Data conversion center of excellence and enhance the conversion capabilities.
- Development of re-usable reconciliation procedures.
- Allocate and guide the team from Kick off to Go live of conversion projects.
- Assisting Pre-sales team in conversion related RFPs.
- Promote teamwork and culture of accountability.
- Co-Ordinate with onshore and offshore resources and guide team members as required.
- Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.
Basic Qualifications:
. 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance and Annuity conversions involving multiple product lines.
. Experience in defining conversion layouts as per product categories.
. Experience in SDLC lifecycle in waterfall and agile methodologies.
. Experience in translating Business requirements and Gaps into Technical specifications.
. 8+ Years of experience in programming and debugging using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS technologies.
. Working knowledge on relational databases (DB2 / SQL / Oracle) is preferred.
. Working knowledge on JAVA is an added advantage.
Mandate Qualification: Life and Annuity conversion experience.
Preferred Skills: . LOMA Certification is preferred.
