Job Description

1. The Product Specialist is a member of a central team in Softcell that drives the OEM engagement strategy. The role reports to a Business Manager who drives the national strategy for a set of OEMs.
2. The Product Specialist works closely with the sales team across a region and acts as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, focusing on generating high value qualified leads for IT solutions, and consulting on current IT environments and future needs.
3. The Product Specialist builds and manages his/her own book of qualified leads converted to closures and drive the lead generation cycle, from initial contact till the time a qualified lead is passed on to the field sales team for the purpose of closure.
4. The Product Specialist develop and maintains OEM as well as client relationships within a territory or region on an ongoing basis.
5. The Product Specialist develops and works with the sales team in branches to execute a good communication plan for every customer engagement which will include call outs, webinars, remote webex based demo, conference with pre-sales specialists / specialists from OEM, etc.
