OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
He/She will be responsible to provide business-driven end-to-end solutions to meet our customers needs in gaining insights from our enterprise data, Animate and reinforce BI and Data Analytics governance as well as designing technical architecture to ensure a stable solution for our customer centered around the Native HANA platform. He/She will also be responsible for leading complex implementation, developing strategies, integration, enhancement, or audit projects. The Platform Expert - Native HANA reports to Delivery Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES :-
1.As Platform Expert - Native HANA
Establish platform specific standards guidelines, checklists Best Practices for architectural development and compliance, Guidelines on Data refreshes, develop long term strategies, and roadmaps (12-36 months), in adherence to Enterprise standards.
Develop and Maintain Data Modeling and Data Management Architecture Strategies. Produce data Architectural design and guidance for complete application lifecycle design, development, deployment, support and Advanced Analytics solutions.
Provide data Solution Design for Complex Initiatives and perform data feasibility studies
Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability.
Make recommendations and proposals for database optimization. Develop functional & technical design document to make SAP functional modules to Analytical systems as well as support business in pre-studies.
Strong ability to produce new technology specifications, solutions ,designed for optimal access. Demonstrate strong ability to gain buy-in on proposed solutions. Lead research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes).
Ensure ADD (Architecture Design Document) are all up-to-date, complete the ADD for each new improvement of the Platform Maintain the CMDB and all the documents repository for all the platforms.
2. Plan and implement projects:
Develop a detailed project plan, define/validation of scope, objectives involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility. Monitor and track progress, Prepares action plans. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Provide technical expertise to propose effort estimates, work breakdown structures and technical resource planning for proposed and current work, to support the Demand Management process. Review the ongoing implementation solution for improvement opportunities.
Manage gates validations, Collaborate with the Shared Service Center on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Service Mode, Collaborate with the Project Delivery team on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Project Mode.
Provide assistance, coach ,mentor, on-the-job training with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge.
Ensure collaboration Functional Architects as business cases are setup for each initiative, collaborate with other analytics team to drive and operationalize analytical deployment. Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.
Strong ability to take the lead and be autonomous Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement. Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
