Network Software Deployment Technician - @ Aakarsh Consultancy

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years experience in an Information Systems environment

Expert knowledge (at least 5 years plus experience) of internet protocols DNS,
TCP/IP as well as NetBIOS and WINS
Experience using Linux based networking commands (ping, snmp walk, traceroute, ipconfig, etc)
MIB structure used in network equipment
Strong understanding of structure cabling products and topologies
function of various types of LAN network equipment


Understanding of facilities equipment utilized in data centers and communications protocols utilized by these devices such as BACNet, Modbus, etc
Intimate understanding of the OSI Model (Open Systems Interconnection)

2 years + experience with VMWare VShpere and Workstation creating and deploying virtual machines

5 years + in LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN,

VLAN

5 years + proven LINUX Red Hat or CentOS operating system skill

2 years + proven Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system skills including Active Directory. MCSE a plus.

Strong scripting skills in JAVA and Flash

Experience with wireless technologies and security Experience with VoIP (Voice over IP) a plus

Strong English language skills a must

Spanish and Portuguese language proficiency a plus MS Excel proficiency

Experience with gotomeeting and TeamView a plus Proven Project management skills

Ability to maintain network related hardware and software

Ability to work independently and on a team at the same time

Demonstrated ability to handle any and all types of users in an appropriate manor Methodical, organized and detail oriented work habits

Strong troubleshooting skill essential

Education:

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, Diploma - Any Specialization

PG:  MCA - Computers, M.Tech - Computers

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
