Job Description
Description Position Overview
This role will be accountable for the following: 1. Responsible to design, implementation maintenance of cloud services solutions in cloud infrastructure (Azure AWS).
2. Drive the adoption of modern cloud-native solutions; design and implement Authentication and Authorization policies and practices aligned with well Architected framework.
3. Collaborate with senior members in Architecture, Engineering, and Cloud Operations to implement and adopt the modern security focused technologies and services.
4. Assist with infrastructure and docker/container vulnerability management, periodic access reviews.
5. Develop security focused metrics and reports demonstrating current risk state organizational alignment with least privilege principle, secure configuration consistent logging.
6. Responsible for leading Cloud security Audits requirements.
7. technical proficiency in configuring technical policies and security configurations.
8. Azure Cloud infrastructure operations and monitoring. Checklist of Experience Required for this Position: Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field 7 years of related IT business work experience 5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure principles and methodologies 5 years of relevant experience with Infrastructure delivery and/or operations 2 years of cloud services experience. (IaaS and PaaS)
Hands on experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure operations and monitoring. Working knowledge with Azure networking, Application Gateway, APIM, IAM Policy and network security. Experience with log collection tools and analysis, as well as infrastructure performance and optimization practice Hands on experience supporting mission-critical IaaS/PaaS solutions for critical applications in Azure Cloud environment.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and working in Agile environment Experience with DevOps automation platforms such as Jenkins, Artifactory, ACR, and/or Azure DevOps Experience with CI/CD provisioning and managing Azure Infrastructure Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for application and infrastructure related issues Implementation support maintenance of AI Ops monitoring system which is used by multiple development and operations teams. Must have experience in Infrastructure Application architecture on Azure cloud. Must possess business level understanding of enterprise systems to drive innovations and transformations. Should have very good understanding of Cloud Native services.
Ability to document holistic and right scale cloud solutions that addresses scalability, availability, service continuity (DR), performance and security requirements. Clear understanding of IAM architecture, roles and policies. Should understand costing of different cloud services.
Should have good understanding of major Azure services. Should have good knowledge of Network/ Security design and architecture on Azure public cloud Experience Agile and Hybrid development and deployment projects Agile or other project management certification is a plus Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Experience managing project financials for complex large projects, including plan to actuals analysis, plan updates. Solves highly complex, politically sensitive problems across teams Experience with managing a hybrid multi-cloud environment
Strong analytical skills to support problem troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause determination to complex technology issues Ability to thrive in a fast pace and demanding work environment. Strong documentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel Good collaboration and partnership skills to foster key relationships with other technology, application, and business teams Solid foundation in IT operational concepts and procedures.

lead team of technical resources (employees and contractors) based in multiple US locations and offshore Lead functional and technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues/requirements to build robust solutions Ability to leverage partnership with Managed Service Providers to achieve business go Ability to navigate complex IT landscape and still deliver results (working across teams such as Cloud Architecture and Engineering, Finance, Asset Management, Cloud Migration)
The Role Collaborate with teams within IT Sectors to implement cloud systems that support the business goals Monitor cloud-based systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, efficiency, and ability to meet non-functional requirements and service level agreements.
Work with Infrastructure as Code pipelines to automate the deployment of Cloud resources Serve as liaison between application and Cloud team to provide guidance to application teams on application container/pod deployments. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues.
Work to improve performance and reliability as the platform scales, driving continuous improvement through operational metrics. Scale Cloud operations through best practices as applicable for configuration management, resource allocation, optimizing performance and capacity, compliance with security policies and requirements, and ensuring service-level agreements are met Utilize automation other technical skills to operational PepsiCo cloud with industry best practices.Relocation Eligible: Eligible for Standard Relocation Job Type: Regular
