Description
Position Overview The candidate will focus on working with all cloud services security team to review automation needs, understand assessment strategies and tooling, review various cloud ops/security strategies, define requirements, build, and test automation, and pull data out of both Azure and AWS for KPI reporting.
Towards that effort, this role will be accountable for the following: Work with all Migration Process owners on process definition, automation requirements, automation development, testing, and implementation. Work with other teams such as:
o Cloud Architecture and Engineering team to validate tooling and processes
o Cloud Solution Architecture to capture requirements and test cases o Cloud Financial Management to capture requirements and test cases
o Work with 3rd party vendors engaged in migration efforts for requirements, testing, and usage of the automation (i.e., Cognizant, HCL, Microsoft, Everest DX)
Expert in Public Cloud Automation process, Solid in-depth automation experience using configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible. Strong coding/scripting skills (Python or Java or Bash) Hands on experience with Public Cloud CI/CD process preferably Azure AWS. Vision to recognize opportunities for reducing manual updates/changes with automation in the development and Cloud operations infrastructure
Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization. Automate tasks and lead integration efforts in Azure using Logic Apps,
Functions, and Automation Runbooks Develop utilities and scripts in support of cloud platform security initiatives Work closely with the cloud infrastructure, application, and data teams to integrate security solutions into release pipelines
Development, test deployment of automation, using CICD tooling best practices Excellent work ethic and strong sense of ownership Checklist of Experience Required for this Position: Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field 6 years of related IT business work experience
4 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure principles and methodologies 5 years of relevant experience with Infrastructure delivery and/or operations 2 years of cloud

Execution of process engineering and operational improvement initiatives for automation tooling focused on cloud Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Must be able to communicate effectively across engineering teams Excellent work ethic and strong sense of ownership Experience in executing cloud automation projects Experience in Agile and Hybrid development and deployment projects Agile or other project management certification is a plus
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Experience with managing a hybrid multi-cloud environment
Strong analytical skills to support problem troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause determination to complex technology issues Ability to thrive in a fast pace and demanding work environment. Solid foundation in IT operational concepts and procedures Vendor management experience Proficiency managing multiple projects in the public cloud, e.g. Azure, AWS Understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies, principles, and methodologies Experience at scale, migrating to the cloud (
