Position Furniture Designer

Location Wadgaon Sheri, Pune

Experience- 3-5 years

Mandatory Skills: Google Sketch up, Rhino, illustrator, Photoshop, 3Dmax andProduct development.

Notice Period- Immediate

Salary As per company standards

Male Candidates Required.

Job Brief:

Furniture designers areskilled in designing and creating furnishingsalong with taking into consideration both functionality and fashion. They are expected to design both exterior and interior furnishings like couches, chairs, shelves, tables, Modular kitchen accessories and Wardrobes.

Job Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for new products
Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
Research materials and techniques
Sketch drafts on paper or digitally on software (for example, using CAD)
Use 3D modeling software to design products and components
Produce prototypes and test functionality
Improve the design of existing products
Gather feedback from product users

Requirements:

Work experience as a Furniture Designer or similar role
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools
Good knowledge of 3D modeling software
Experience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketch)
Time-management skills.
flexibility and adaptability
the ability to work to deadlines
collaborative skills, particularly if working in a multidisciplinary practice
a desire to keep up to date with market trends and new ideas
