Lead Data Management - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Delhivery

The Lead (Data Management) role is cross-functional, and sits at the intersection of analytics, data engineering, business, technology and program management.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Being the custodian of company data from a management / analytics perspective

• Working with stakeholders across the organisation to establish a single source of truth in terms of data

• Designing a framework and schemas to clean and represent data in a manner that is easy to use by analytics and business teams

• Working with technology, data engineering and business teams to ensure that all the data collected flows through the data warehouse

• Putting in processes to maintain checks and balances to ensure quality of data in the data warehouse

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in analytics / business intelligence / data engineering roles. Consulting experience is a plus.

• Skilled at understanding businesses, and using data and technology to solve business problems

• Experience with relational databases including SQL queries, database definition, and schema design

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Very good at logical reasoning

• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills

• Ability to think clearly, analyse quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritise

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience each in analytics / BI and data engineering

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a Tier1 institution

• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast paced environment
