Job Description
About the RoleThis role is of a team member working in the Information & Cyber Security within Data & Analytics team, who has good understanding of Security Configuration Management processes, analytics and reporting of vulnerabilities using tools. Working closely with business lines & infrastructure teams, this role directly contributes to the effort to identify, track, and remediate the open vulnerabilities (technical Vulnerabilities or build compliance deviations) on our systems. Monitor the deviations of Security Configurations on various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver key information security controls reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Develop new capabilities by taking the requirement from Stakeholders and delivering the project within the timelines
- Deliver the compliance of Configuration management processes to Key stakeholders
- Coordinate with Stakeholders and Database teams for baseline changes on Security Configuration settings
- Identifies security risks to the organization and ensures that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented.
- Maintains an awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security.
- Communicating security issues to a wide variety of internal key stakeholders to include technical teams, executives, risk groups
- Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners both regionally and globally
- Investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents.
- Present/Document key findings, progress, and hurdles to IT leadership on regular basis
- Influence stakeholders to prioritize and execute risk management initiatives and drive remediation of process and technology gaps.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Information and Cyber Security domains handling either Security Configurations & Key Security controls, Event/Log monitoring and analysis, security compliance & reporting.
- 2+ years in Network Infrastructure Monitoring and experience in working on any of the network security tools (e.g. Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FireMon, SkyBox)
- Proven knowledge and experience in any one of SIEM tools (e.g. QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm, SPLUNK)
- Experience in python and automation of manual process
- Experience with industry standard frameworks (e.g. NIST)
- Ability to present reports to and interact with senior leaders
- Strong with Advanced excel & data Management tools like Tableau, ability to generate reports based on requirement
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with good attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Industry recognized certifications like ITIL or Security related certifications like CISA, CISM
- Knowledge of Security Configuration for various platforms/servers
- Knowledge on ETL & Data Integration tools
- Knowledge on Cloud infrastructure and Cloud monitoring
- Good understanding of networking concepts like ICMP, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, traceroute.
- Good understanding of threat, vulnerabilities, attacks and countermeasures
- Understanding of OWASP and Vulnerability management
