As a Graphics Hardware Engineer/Lead, you will work on graphics cores going into Intels next generation SoCs to power a wide range of devices from handhelds to servers. You will drive performance verification of a variety of our GPU cores and IPs. Were looking for passionate and talented Graphics Hardware Engineers/Leads who are ready to make significant impact in graphics and visual computing areas. You will be responsible for performance verification/validation of complex RTL/logic clusters and blocks that go into the latest Intel graphics products, both at Unit Level and IP level. Youll interact with a team of the brightest minds in graphics technology, hardware, and software engineering.
Youll cultivate a deep understanding of the entire graphics pipeline, and you will integrate customer input into designs, enabling development of next decades cutting-edge applications. Your daily work will be anything but routine. Youll ensure the graphics processing unit (GPU) platform has the best balance of features, performance, and power, specifically focusing on graphics hardware components.Job scope includes functional/performance validation of RTL design ( in simulation or emulation ), test bench and test content design and implementation, debug of performance degradations and working with micro-architects to remove the performance bottle necks. Will be working with Architects for performance benchmarking and with post silicon team for providing debug support .
Develop detailed validation specs for testbenches and validation collaterals design and/or comprehensive testplans for verification Design verification involving TestBench development, architecture / functionalmodeling , functional coverage closure, test writing, and debug Define performance verification strategy and develop execution plans. Drive the execution of these performance test plans.
Debug and root cause the performance bottlenecks in the design and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design. Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of coverage, pass rates, performance criterion as well as feature goals. Understand and drive various GPU and Machine Learning and/or AI Performance benchmarks on RTL via Simulation or Emulation to achieve the planned performance targets. Post-silicon debug support. Guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
