Job Description

To ensure that the department is functioning smoothly in consultation with the Blood Bank Officer.

To maintain the blood donors room as per the requirements.

To handle patients and get the request forms duly completed, to handle any queries/ customer complaints.

To co-ordinate with operation theatre and other critical areas in case of emergency.

To asst. the HOD/Medical officer in the preparation of monthly and annual reports and the monthly data of the blood bank

To make available the required quantum of blood and blood components for the needy patients in liaison with the technical staff and Blood Bank Officer.

To arrange blood donation/grouping camps as and when necessary.

To participate and contribute to l quality initiatives of the department.

To be aware of departments performance and objective.

To carryout data collection/support in data collection.

To follow the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.

To perform any job/work as and when assigned by the superior.
