Deputy Project Manager - S&T - Mumbai @ Alstom

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Manage Project until contract closure, respecting the QCD commitment the EHS target.

Works closely with the : Project Manager, Customer repr sentatives, Deputy PMs Telecom, PSD . He shall work closely with the project core team including Planning, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Installtion, TC, Quality and Safety teams. He/she shall also have a link with the teams involved in the project from different locations.

• Support PM in delivering project according to QCD, Contract and Safety commitments as specified at contract signature related signed Variation Orders
• Ensure that the project workload needs are well forecasted and anticipated by Project Managers
• Define, review adjust strategies of the project with Project Manager; periodically
• Animate and lead operationally the Project Team, defining the project priorities
• Support Project Manager and Customer Director in getting customer acceptance of the project
• Ensure Project Management Processes, Methods and Tools are applied on project
• Ensure EHS rules are applied
• Manage operational interface with client to satisfy contract requirements and plan compliance;
