Job Accountabilities
Knowledge in hands-on operations experience of below technologies
Load Balancers/ WAF: F5 / Citrix Netscaler/ Radware
Cisco Switches: Cisco IOS and Nexus switches
Routing Protocols: OSPF/BGP/VRRP/HSRP/Static routing
Security: Network Layer-2 & Layer-3 Security

Engineers, configures, deploys, and maintains Web Application Firewall and Load Balancing solution.
Develops advanced alerts/reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders.
Look into the daily administration of the network load balancer and WAF environment.
Should collaborate with network and engineering teams regarding load balancing and WAF infrastructure for data centre environments.
Must play an active role in designing complex load balancing and WAF solutions.
Ensure network interoperability and propose load balancing/ WAF infrastructure.
Maintain relationships with other teams within the organization and provide load balancing troubleshooting and support
Thorough and demonstrable understanding of network operating systems, network devices, and networking protocols
Ability to consistently investigate network administration to the diagnose and resolve of network problems
Must understand network architecture analysis and engineering implementation
Event Log Analysis, Perform threat, vulnerability & risk assessments.
Good understanding of IT Security standards, best practices and its implementation.
Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to Network &security infrastructure
Coordinates the handling and resolution of security breach incidents
Develops documentation to support ongoing security systems operations, maintenance, and specific problem resolution.
Should be able to work 24x7 environment.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

WAF technologies including developing, implementing, tuning, and maintaining WAF policies and configurations.
Strong understanding of Load Balancer Content switching, SSL offload, SNI, rate limiting, rewrite and responder policies, Web Application Firewall.
Industry certification with other networking technologies.
A minimum of eight (8) years progressive in Network design and Administration experience in Network Security
Expert level working experience with Network products, Protocols
Ability to conceive and manage multiple projects and to set priorities
Excellent network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent time-management strategies to handle a heavy workload at various time of the year and project lifecycle.
Willingness to work beyond core business hours / on call, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network/system modifications
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Superior communication skills and team co-ordination
Ability to present technical concepts and ideas to non-technical staff and management.
