Software Technologist II - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Philips India

Technically responsible for a set of application/platform related functionalities

Provides architectural/design inputs on the application/platform

Responsible for analyzing and understanding the requirements

Identifies technical risks and assists RTE in developing mitigation and recovery plans

Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables

Provides input and supports the test strategy for the functionality

Understands the clinical needs from a user perspective (in the context of how the feature is being used)

Key Skills/Competencies:

5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer

Hands on experience on Java spring based micro-services development is a must

Exposure to Cloud stacks such as AWS is a big plus

Experience in deployment of applications in Cloud Foundry is a big plus

Having experience of deploying applications on Cloud platforms is a big plus

Familiarity with databases MySQL, MongoDB , web servers and UI/UX design

Excellent object oriented development skills

Experience in JavaScript frameworks Angular, React, Node.js and Java

Knowledge of design patterns and practical application of same

Experience working in scrum teams and familiar with the agile methodologies

Experience in Healthcare domain is a plus

Personal Characteristics:

Willing to dive in and understand the code-base of platform class applications on Microsoft Stack

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to stay focused on the target in an ambiguous situation

Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization

Proactive and self-driven, possesses due sense of urgency

Shall be very good technically; possess systems mindset and good problem solving abilities

Working with multisite teams, quality conscious and process & customer oriented
