Shifts:- Flexible to work in Rotational Shifts.
About the Project:- Investments in seed stage startups in India and the United States.
Job Description: -We are looking for a qualified individual who loves finding and researching early-stage seed startups for investment purposes. The individual should enjoy working with a small, globally distributed team and can manage working independently on crucial tasks. We are highly collaborative and move fast.
Responsibilities:-
Our Venture Capital Associate is responsible for:
Deal flow Prospecting
- Leveraging tools and processes to identify compelling startups.
- Building knowledge and relationships in the startup ecosystem to identify compelling startups.
- Identifying new strategies for sourcing local and international startup opportunities.
Deal flow Evaluation
- Applying evaluation criteria to different startups.
- Conducting meetings with founders.
- Determining questioning for due diligence.
- Scoring and rating opportunities for review.
- Pitching the best startups to management team.
- Creating memos and other analysis documents.
- Successful associates will gain opportunities to join the cap table.
Requirements:
- Passion for VC, startups, and entrepreneurship.
- Fast and detail-oriented.
- Excellent listening skills with high EQ and good common sense.
- Execution-oriented -- focused on process + outcomes.
- Metric-Driven -- Set goals and meet or exceed them every week.
- Competitive spirit -- unafraid of new challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong ability to network and to quickly build trusted, authentic relationships.
- Strong English skills.
