Job Description

Position : Legal Officer

Location :Jaipur

To plan, organize and support legal services in respective zone. Maintain Legal MIS & guide on legal matters to Regional/ Zonal Heads / branches.

• Attending Courts / Consumer Forums / Police stations in civil / criminal cases / complaints filed by the Bank / against Bank.
• Interacting with advocates / police officers / quasi-judicial authorities for resolution of disputes / complaints.
• Filing & visit to Police Station for registration of FIR/ assisting Branch Heads / Bank officers in filing of FIRs and liasoning with police for early action.
• Vetting of plaints, Written Statements, complaints, drafting of notices, replies to the notices & customer letters.
• Generally advising and support Zonal Legal Manager, branches and field offices on legal issues / matters.
• Follow up with advocates for early action/ disposal of cases pending.
• To send follow up mails for next week listed cases to advocate and daily reporting of listed cases to Zonal Legal Manager.
• Maintain physical Court Case Diary and online updation of legal cases in Legal MIS software.
• May require extensive travelling to various places within zone.
