Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:- To provide investigative second level Production support for applications. This includes all issues reported by the business users through incident tickets and also escalated by level one support team.
Ability to manage the complete production incident life cycle, including user acknowledgements, understanding issue criticality, in-depth investigation,
identify resolution/workaround options and implementations with approvals. Also perform root-cause analysis and follow through till permanent fix by co-coordinating with Development,
Infrastructure and Management teams
Work closely with the second level support team in AMS and India. Also, co-ordinate with level one team to improve their application understanding and create/update their knowledge articles
Contribute in the Week-end release implementation support, Infrastructure and Application maintenance activities including the QMW, DR and BC
Log all the Issues, Incidences, Problems and Releases in the tracking tool and maintain accurate effort utilization for management reporting
Looking for Improvement opportunities and take initiatives for work drivers and automations
Qualification:- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong knowledge and proficiency in APAC Regulatory Requirements
At least 4-6 years of experience in supporting, managing and delivering regulatory reporting projects is preferred
Candidate must have hands-on experience in application support with experience in system setup, environments, system fine tuning
Experience in Unix and Shell Scripting/Batch Scripting and automation
Experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL database platforms.
Knowledge on 3 tier architecture, middleware system ie JBoss Platform, Control M
Have strong system design and trouble-shooting skill
Excellent people skills with the ability to handle pressure and work as a team
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Willingness to explore and pick up new technologies/new products.
