Educational qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or M.Sc. or B.Sc. or any graduate with relevant programming work experience
Work experience:
Around 6 to 8 years of work experience as PL SQL Developer
Should be sound in SQL queries as well as PL/SQL programs
Should have experience of creating test cases & test reports

Job profile:
Manage all phases of the SDLC from analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
Schedule jobs to automate different database relate activities including backup, monitoring database health, disk space, backup verification.
Involve in developing, testing, compiling, debugging and maintains the data
Tune the SQL queries as well as PL/SQL programs using hints, indexes, partitions and other performance tuning techniques.
Create and maintain indexes, constraints, tables, PL/SQL store procedures & packages and produce queries to answer business questions.
Help QA team and support team by explaining the developed code and solve prod issues and UAT issues by fixing bugs.
Involve in extracting data from different data sources like oracle, XML and spreadsheets.
Create test cases and test reports and work with QA team to validate the data and scenarios.
Create calculated fields with MDX code to meet additional measures needs that are calculate from existing measures.
Work with the DBA team during database Re-org activities to help validate the row counts within the tables.
Create synonyms and grant privileges on schema objects for other users to be able to share and access content.
Create numerous simple to complex queries involving self joins, correlate sub-queries, functions, cursors, dynamic SQL.
Used PL/SQL DML queries to modify table data to mock certain test cases, data manipulation and data validation.
Participate and contribute in discussions about database issues, perform applications tuning by analysing trace files and explain plans.
Involve in designing database architecture and technical documents for better understanding the relations, associations and dependencies within the application.
Implement validations for password field by using JavaScript according to client side specifications.
Delete old repository backup files and purge deleted objects from repository in both development and production environments.
Involve in repository management using admin console and repository manager for creating repositories for development and testing environments.
Design and develop interactive dashboards that enable stakeholders to focus on performance drivers.
Consolidate redundant existing reports to create a dashboards and add new metrics for improve data visualization.
Design and implement comprehensive backup plan and disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability of data.
Calculate measures and dimension members using MDX, mathematical formulas and user define functions.
